Experiencing life to it’s fullest
Welcome to the fifth part of the Goal Setting Course. And I am assuming you have done whatever is required from the fourth part. So at this point of time you need to have your entire sentences believe statements, behaviours absolutely ready, recorded and I hope your started listening to it, right? Because this is going to built the entire foundation at level of subconscious mind. Now we come to the next part the fifth part, which is now all about “HOW”. How am I going to achieve my goals, my milestones and my behaviours? This part is called the “STRATEGY BUILDING” and you are going to do it in different ways This is important. If you look at all the other part, it was also creating an entire mindset and it is also important now to understand how I am going to achieve it. So, for each and every goal and milestone identify broader strategy and specific action points. What am I going to do and very important point is “What am I going to do DIFFERENTLY to achieve my Goals.” Strategies are nothing but broader steps that you would take towards achieving your goal and action points are specific steps under strategies which can be easily tracked and measured. Now there is another thing that you have to do which is tremendously important part of this particular step. Identify a mentor or a coach, who will help you formulate a powerful strategy.
Now remember, you may never get to know whether you have the best strategy or not. Its only time that will tell you, your strategy was good or not. But, at this point of time you need to have strategy and you need to believe and it should be logically. Make sense as if it’s going to be achieve your goal, it should make sense. It should satisfy your sub-conscious part which is your believe and it should also satisfy the logical part of your mind which is your conscious mind. So formulate strategies on your own first. Identify a mentor or a coach. Now a mentor or a coach, could be somebody whom you hire professionally. Now many of them do not do this because they find that to be expensive. Let me tell you one thing, even when you go out to the restaurant and have food, you spend more than that. So once in awhile if you go out and have food, you can definitely hire a mentor, who can expertise your goal achievement process and who can definitely increase your probability of achieving your goals. As I said you can professionally somebody whom you hire or identify people who have already done what you desire to do with your goal, identify people who are good at certain things. For example if one action step, if one strategy, if one of the mile stones is to become a effective speaker because that important for you or is to become good in negotiations. Identify somebody whom you know, already good at it and spend some quality time.
Now I know a lot of you out that would like to skip this step and I can tell you one thing, if you skip this step that going to be one reason why you might fail in achieving your goal or achievement of your goal itself will be delayed. If I am talking about this step here, remember it’s tremendously important. Do not skip this one and do whatever it takes. Find the coach and find the mentor right? You may not be a expert in hiring or finding a mentor and that’s why as I am telling you, keep it simple at this point of time. Find somebody who is good at it and you know that. Now remember not everybody would agree to teach you. So you need to check with many people and not every good coach has been a good player and not every good player is good coach. I am asking you to do it other way round. Find somebody who is good at his work; approach that person, if he is not teaching you well you, be a good learner and it will work. So, this step, this part of the entire goal setting is dedicated, the work given to all of you is “Identify Mentors and Coach” who can help you to reach there. You might have multiple of them because you have multiple of points or you might just have one or two who can help you to achieve this. Trust me, explore this one and you will definitely expertise, accelerate in achieving your goals. I will definitely connect with you in the next part which is part 6 of the goal setting, but I definitely expect you, to follow through on this one.
